Home Pregnancy Tests: How Accurate Are They?
If there’s any doubt, I would recommend women talk to their physicians and request blood tests. While most medications won't affect your home pregnancy test results, there is an exception. If you’re taking fertility drugs, you may get a false positive. Fertility medications can have HCG in them, which may be detected by the test and create a positive result even if you are not pregnant.
